Mrs. Ada Mai Church age 85 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at her residence. She was born November 25, 1930, in Warren County, TN, was a retired bookkeeper with Burroughs-Ross-Colville (B.R.C.) and a member of the Congregational Methodist Church.

Mrs. Church was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Alma McGee Betchel, her husband Clarence Edward Church, brother Tommy Betchel, step-daughter Mary Louise Throneberry, and step-son Bill Pendergraph.

Survivors include her children David Pendergraph and Donna (Johnny) Anderson both of McMinnville, step-daughter Inez Willis of Cullowhee, NC; grandchildren Dana McGowan, Davy (Stephanie) Pendergraph, Daniel Pendergraph, and Jarah Anderson all of McMinnville and Jonathan (Brooke) Anderson of Smithville; great grandchildren Dakota McGowan, Abbie (Jacob) Argo, and Lake Pendergraph all of McMinnville, sister Anna Rhea Basham of McMinnville, and special caregiver Debbie Lawson.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jonathan Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 PM until 8 PM and again Sunday from 10 AM until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
