In a letter dated January 20, 1941 from Mrs. Sallie George Flint to Helen Montague Turner she writes:

"Your grandmother Ellen Roberts is buried there..... I know these things and I remember her being brought there, her coffin resting at Aunt Mils for the night, in the winter. The roads were so bad had to bring her remains in a wagon filled with hay; started early next morning to Woodville to make the days trip."
