Graveside services for Mrs. Bertha Mae Osborn, 79, of Texas City and a former Glen Rose resident, were held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday at Squaw Creek Cemetery near Rainbow with the Rev. Dutch Mann officiating. Mrs. Osborn died in a Houston hospital Feb. 10.

She was born May 16, 1904 in Erath County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McInroe. She married Charlie H. Osborn April 9, 1939. He preceded her in death in April, 1982.

She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Farrar of Texas City; two brothers, Alvin McInroe of Stephenville and R. L. McInroe of Dublin; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Sympathy is extended to her family and friends. God bless you.

Shorty and I attended the funeral of Aunt Bertha Osborne Sunday morning. We were sorry to hear of her death. We were glad to see her daughter and a grandson and one of her brothers at the funeral. We were also glad to see several other relatives at the funeral, among them were Mr. and Mrs. Spud Stinson of Glen Rose.
