Laura Elizabeth Kleysteuber, 30, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006 at her home. She was born Aug. 5, 1976, in Stillwater, Okla., to Joe and Sandy (Bruce) Badgett. She was a 1994 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School and a 1998 graduate of Kansas State University's marketing program. She married John Kleysteuber on Aug. 7, 1998, in Overland Park and worked in Garden City as the director of marketing at Golden Plains Credit Union. A member of Bible Christian Church of Garden City and Chi Omega Sorority, Mrs. Kleysteuber was involved with the March of Dimes and Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband, John Kleysteuber of Garden City; two sons, Cooper Harold Kleysteuber and Colin Joe Kleysteuber, both of Garden City; her parents, Joe and Sandy Badgett of Shawnee; and two brothers, Matt Badgett of Shawnee and Thomas Badgett of Overland Park. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at Bible Christian Church in Garden City, with the Rev. Jeff Starkey officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
