Camden, May 21 - Mrs. Amy J., wife of Jay Codner, died yesterday morning about 9 o'clock, at the family home in Masonic avenue after a long period of feeble health. Mrs. Codner was born in Amboy September 14, 1869, and was a daughter of James H. and Katherine Harris Foil. She was married to Mr. Codner in Amboy, Feb. 23, 1888. They have lived in the town of Camden about 25 years, having made their home in Westdale for sometime, and coming to Camden village about 12 years ago. She was a quiet, pleasant lady, and well liked by all who came in contact with her. She is survived by her husband, and one daughter, Mrs. William T. Reymore of Watertown. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Warren Whaley of Hastings, and two brothers, Lewin and Elmer H. Foil, both of Rome. The funeral will be attended from the home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, and burial will be made in Westdale.
