A resident of Brown Branch for most of his life, Mr. Ewing died suddenly Friday, July 10 at his farm in Taney County. He was a farmer and a member of the Caney Church.
Born Aug. 4, 1912, in Ozark County, he was the son of Lorenzo Dow and Mollie M. Mathes Ewing. He married Erma Roberts on Dec. 27, 1933, at Ava, Mo. Mrs. Ewing survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Irene Adams, McClurg; Jo Ann Pierce, Ava; and Wanda Allen, Kansas City, Kans.; one brother, Cleo Ewing, Ava; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
