Alta E. Keller, 83, of Glen Aubrey, passed peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in her home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas P. Keller and son, Timothy Keller. She is survived by her loving children: Ricky, Randy, Julie, Thomas and Billie Sue; her loving sister Charlotte Barnhart; 43 grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She loved her attending physician, Steven Malkin, MD. Alta attended the Glen Aubrey Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, camping with her husband and the Senior Citizens group in Whitney Point. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 2 at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. Rev. Eddie Maslin will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in Allentown Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 10 -11 a.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to remember Alta with a memorial contribution are asked to kindly consider the Northern Broome Senior Center in Whitney Point or the Glen Aubrey Baptist Church.
