Funeral services for Mr. Climmie T. Devero, of Wrightsville, will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Burnett Grove A.M.E. Church, 157 Hurst Road, Tennille. Reverend Pitts will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Devero, who passed on July 4, 2016, was born on June 16, 1936 in Wrightsville, to the late Jack and Laura Hodges Devero. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Ruth Armstrong. Clemmie enjoyed the outdoors and being around family.

Mr. Devero is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Louise Outlaw-Devero, a daughter, Janice Martin, sons, Danny (Virginia) Devero, and Donny (Brenda) Devero, all of Wrightsville, five step-children, Darrell Frankie Brown, Jimmy Thompson, Ella (Isaac) Bivens of Mableton, Penny T. Outlaw, Alisa M. (Glenn) Darrisaw of Wrightsville, two brothers, Bishop Jimmy Devero, of Lake Wells, Florida, and Tommy Devero of Wrightsville, two sisters, Dorothy Mae Gilmore of Wrightsville, Florence Parks of Jacksonville, Florida, eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
