BORGER - Orville "Bud" Grubbs, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with Ben Vanvacter, pastor of First Baptist Church in Granite, Okla., officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Jester, Okla.

Mr. Grubbs was born Oct. 9, 1922, in Reed, Okla. He married Edith Nowell on May 15, 1948, in Mangum, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Yvonne Robinson of Borger; a son, Clint Grubbs of Aubrey; a sister, Nadine Cosgrove of Frederick, Okla.; a brother, Quinten Leon Grubbs of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
