Clara Lou Crutchfield Ashcraft, 82, of Sheridan, widow of W. S. Ashcraft, died Thursday at Grant County Nursing Home here.
A native of Grant County, she was a daughter of Henry and Emily Virginia Veazey Crutchfield.
She was a homemaker and a member of Little Creek Baptist Church of Sheridan.
Survivors include a stepson, Lee Ashcraft of White Hall; two step-daughters, Willie Mae Carter of Paramount, California, and Winnie Sullivan of Indianola, Mississippi; a sister, Julia Winston of Sheridan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral was scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan, with Reverend Frank Springer, Reverend Gary Moore and Reverend Lory Poynor officiating. Burial was to be in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan.
