Mrs. L. A. Sanders Died At Buffalo Tuesday Afternoon.
Mrs. Ludora Ann Sanders, age 67 years, wife of H. M. Sanders, of the Buttston community, Tallapoosa County, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ed Lindsey about 1 o'clock Tuesday morning following an extended illness. She had been at the home of her daughter for the past three weeks. She had been in ill health for several months.
Mrs. Sanders was before her marriage to H. M. Sanders, Miss. Ludora Sanders, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elam Sanders of Chambers County. She was born and reared in this section of the state and made her home in Chambers and Tallapoosa Counties adjacent to the Buttston community. She was a member of the Buttston Baptist Church.
Funeral service was held at 1 o'clock Wednesday from the Buttston Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev G. D. Hunt was the officiating minister.
Surviving are six sons, Joe Sanders, West Point, Ephram Sanders, Brewer Sanders and Olin Sanders of Lanett, Winfred and Cecil Sanders of Buttston; three daughters, Mrs. Ed Lindsey, Buffalo, Mrs. John Lindsey, Lanett, and Mrs. Clifford Henderson of Camp Hill. Also surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Bell Blyer, Montgomery, Mrs. Ada Wyatt, Alexander City, Mrs. Eula Huckaby, LaFayette, and Mrs Susie Irvin, Denver, and John Sanders, Alexander City, T. E. Sanders, Dudleyville, Rick Sanders, Buttston, and Will Sanders, Atlanta.
