On December 24, 1924 he was married to Ruth Frances Slinkard, and she survives.
Mr. Stroder had lived in the community for 50 years.
He was a farmer in the Whitewater and Allenville area, and was employed by the International Shoe Co. before retiring. He also drove the Delta High School bus for a number of years.
He was a member of the Allenville Baptist Church.
Also surviving are sons, Eugene Stroder of Advance, MO; and William G. Stroder, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; one daughter Mrs. George (Norma Jean) Wessell of Gordonville, MO; one sister, Mrs. Howard (Gladys) Haman of Cape Girardeau, MO; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at Allenville Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Krueder and Rev. Morris Cobb to officiate. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery.
