Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Donelle Breaux Alleman; one daughter, Sandy Kidder and companion Scott Skola; one son, Ronny Alleman; three grandchildren, Cody Kidder and his wife Victoria, Kristi Wilson and Kerri Kidder; and five great grandchildren, Kellsea Kidder, Corinthian Kidder, Kyron Wilson, Alysa Kidder, Brittyn Kidder and grand dog, Bosco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alban and Laurence Martin Alleman; one daughter, Lisa Alleman; five brothers; and four sisters.
A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Paul Alleman retired as District Chief from the Lafayette Fire Department after 25 years of service and from Hiltons Food Service after 35 years of service. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He became a surrogate father to many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Alleman passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center after a courageous fight with cancer and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
