Beloved Son of Ephraim Edward and Edna Clark Ericksen. Beloved Husband of Bertha Ford Ericksen. During World War Two he served as an Army Captain in the Pacific. After the war he completed his education receiving his doctorate at the University of Chicago in 1953. He was an outstanding professor at the University of Oregon and at California State University at Long Beach, where he was the chairman of the Department of Geography until he retired in 1980. Private Graveside Services were held on September 17, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the Farmington City Cemetery where he was buried beside his beloved wife Bertha in the Clark Family Plot.
