GIBBON PASSES IN DAYTON HOME
Funeral Service Held At Chapel Here
John Henry Gibbon died at his home in Dayton Nov. 9, following an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at Macy's chapel Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. J.O. Bullock, of the Dayton Baptist church, officiating.
Mr. Gibbon was born Jan. 25, 1888, in Dayton, the son of Daniel and Alice Gibbon, and was married to Florence Morris in 1914.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel and Bluford, both of Dayton; two daughters, Miss Joy B. Gibbon and June Gibbon, both of Dayton; three brothers, Clifford, Frank and George Gibbon, all of Dundee; and four sisters, Mrs. Maude Noble, and Mrs. Genevieve Waugenich, both of Oregon City, Mrs. Vera Rose of Dayton, and Mrs. Jennie Pratt of Dundee.
Burial was in the Evergreen memorial park.
