Funeral services for Mrs. Floyce Price, 87, of Monroe, who passed away Wednesday, July 6th, 2016, are at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 9th, 2016, at the Calvary Baptist Church of Monroe, LA with Rev. Kevin Crim and Rev. David Willabee officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe.
A homemaker and long-time resident of Monroe, was born October 28th, 1928, in Marion, LA, the daughter of the late Walter and Gertie Baker Farrar. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Haywood C. Price.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Houston Patton and husband, Dennis; a son, Roy Price and wife, LaFaye; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 brothers, Jim, Boots, and Horace Farrar; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
Pallbearers include Chase and Christopher Price, Blake and Brandon Wolfe, Nathan Crim, Sammy Nolan, Howard Reese, and Alan Knight. Honorary pallbearers are Harry Roberts and Larry Bartley.
