DR. H. H. HILL FUNERAL THURSDAY

Services will be held Thursday for Dr. H. Hansford Hill, former Charleston dentist, who died Monday of burns received in an early morning trailer fire in Leesville, Louisiana.

Dr. Lacy Burns, pastor of Humphreys Memorial church, will officiate at 11 a.m. in Wilson funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The body is scheduled to arrive here sometime Wednesday.

Dr. Hill was found dead in his dental trailer. Sheriff W. C. Turner of Vernon parish, Louisiana, said he apparently fell asleep while smoking a cigarette.

He lived with his mother, Mrs. Cora Goff, at 314 Delaware Avenue before leaving Charleston about six months ago. Prior to that, he practiced locally for several years and also had an office at Rand.

He was the brother of Denver D. (Red) Hill victim of a sensational murder in 1946.
