He had been a resident of Abilene for more than fifteen years at the time of his death, having previously resided in California, Utah and Hawaii, and traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad.

"Timothy was talented, creative and unique. Before retirement, he was a successful florist and floral designer, and he used that background and skill as a volunteer for special event designing and decorating at the Grace Museum, the Center for Contemporary Arts, the Church of the Heavenly Rest, and other venues. He was loyal to his friends, always willing to help and an admired colleague. He will be missed by all who knew him.
