Cecilia was born in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 17, 1934, a daughter of the late August and Cecilia Roskey Rudolph. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Nicholas High School.
Cecilia was employed by the ACME Markets until her retirement.
Cecilia was a woman of strength, faith and courage. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Wilkes-Barre.
Cecilia was the happiest when surrounded by family and working in her garden.
In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her brothers, Lenard Rudolph and Francis Rudolph, and sisters, Mary Martin and Theresa Rudolph.
Cecilia will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 28 years, Leo; stepchildren, Monica Chupka and her husband, Jim, Shavertown; Joe Laskowski and his wife, Lisa, State College; and Leona Freeman and her husband, Ed, Beaumont; beloved grandchildren, James and Lauren Chupka and Michael and Brian Laskowski; sisters, Betty Chupka, Danville; Barbara Evans, Endicott, N.Y.; and Rosalie Rudolph, Syracuse, N.Y.; brother, (Bernard) Brother Albert, OCSO, Trappist Abbey, Carlton, Ore.; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
