L. B. H. Brown (Louis Berry Holly Brown) is listed as discharged at Red Boiling Springs TN. in October 1861. he enlisted in the, Confederate Army, 30th Tennessee infantry Company E and was transferred to the 44th Tennessee Infantry Company E, position was Teamster in Ordinance train. Mules ran away with ordinance wagon, he was thrown from the wagon and received head injuries, listed in a Confederate Hospital for one hundred and forty (140) days. He was discharged with a disability on January 18, 1864. L. B. H. Brown did draw a military pension. He is buried in an unmarked grave.
