"Sachi" was born at Ohlone ranchería Uypi in what is now Santa Cruz County, California, about 1745. His wife's name was "Pasur". He assumed his Christian name Dimas at his baptism at Mission Santa Cruz on January 25, 1795 (SCZ Baptism 00373). His daughter "Uuchilli" had been baptized as Columba at this same mission three years earlier. Dimas died at Mission Santa Cruz and was buried in the mission cemetery on February 26, 1800 (SCZ Death 00429). His remains, along with many others, were transferred to this cemetery in 1885.
