Joyce Faye Fann, age 77, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at Brookshire Healthcare. She was born on March 18, 1939 in Madison County, AL daughter of the late Murphy Dillard & Bertha Nada Foster Sparkman. Mrs. Fann was a foster grandparent at Flintville School and the Child Development Center in Fayetteville. She was a long-time member of West End Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garry Fann, and brothers, Joe Sparkman and James Sparkman.
Mrs. Fann is survived by her daughters: Jo Lynn & Jeff Lewter of Shelbyville, TN and Tracy & Scott Banks of Madison, AL; sister: Janice Sparkman of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Jessica & Matt Waid, Jake Lewter and Heather Banks; great grandchildren: Henry Waid and Hayden Waid; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services are Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery with Larry Smith officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
