Mildred "Bonnie" Miller, 95, of Georgetown died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday (July 3, 2016) at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman.

She was born on January 19, 1921, in Danville, the daughter of James Andrew and Ethel {Hymer} Miller.

She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ruth Potter, Daniel Miller, Mary Struer, Grover Miller, Madolyn Watts, Reatha Clemmons and James Andrew Miller Jr.

Bonnie attended and completed a three-year Ministerial Course at L.I.F.E. Bible College. She then worked as a switchboard operator at Monrovia School District where she earned her High School Diploma in 1960.

Bonnie lived in Monrovia, California for nearly 40 years and then returned to Georgetown in 1990. She was a faithful Church-goer and enjoyed playing the piano at home as well as at many churches. She loved animals and was a big advocate for the ASPCA organization. Bonnie also like to garden and take of her yard. She loved flowers and was a talented writer. She enjoyed spending time in Scripture.
