Funeral services for William Lish Humble, age 92, of Epps, LA will be held at 2:00PM at the Herringville Baptist Church in Monticello, LA on Saturday, April 26, 2003. Rev. Donnie Linson will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mr. Humble died April 23, 2003 at the Richland Parish Hosptial in Delhi.
He was a longtime member of the Herringville Baptist Church in the Monticello Community. He had lived the majority of his adult life in the East Carroll Parish Community of Monticello where he farmed. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Humble and Susie Stephens Humble.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Perritt Humble of Epps, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Burchfield, Jerry Arledge, W. L. Payne, Billy Castilaw, Bruce Castilaw and Tim Castilaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Thompson, Charles O'Neal, Runt Trapp and the Adult Men of Herringville Baptist Church.
