The funeral of Chas. R. Thayer, who died of pneumonia at Aniwa on Friday last, was held in the Fairfield Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. F. E. Ross preached the sermon. The deceased was born in Fairfield and had been long been a member of the Baptist church there. He is survived by his wife and three children.
