Sue was a daughter of Tommie Deese and Alberta Moore. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, J.E. Hudson; sister, Daisy Beasley; and stepfather, Billy Moore.
∼Smithfield – Susan “Sue” Deese Hudson, age 64, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Born July 30, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Tommie Deese and Alberta Moore. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, J.E. Hudson; sister, Daisy Beasley; and stepfather, Billy Moore. Sue was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Beasley and Rev. Sammy Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove PFWB Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday just prior to the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Faye Stanley and husband Tony of Four Oaks, Lisa Russell and husband Ray of Four Oaks, and Shelia McLean and husband Daniel of Pine Level; brothers, W.T. Deese and wife Catherine of Angier, and Edgar Deese and significant other Gail Newman; sister, Edna Eubanks and husband Harvey of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Lanie Dean, Christa Johnson, Chase Stanley, James Cook, Chelsea Cook, Michaela Cook, Rylan Russell, Blake McLean, and Lane McLean; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Warner, Paisley Dean, Gunner Dean, Aliyah Collins, and Brooklyn Cook; and several nieces and nephews.
