BURIAL RITES FOR A FORMER RESIDENT HELD
Mrs. Anna Riesellman Died at Dubuque;
Had Lived Here Years Ago

Burial services were held here Monday for Mrs. Anna Riesselman one-time resident of Guttenberg and a native of Elkport. Mrs. Riesselman died Thursday evening at her home in Dubuque following several years of ill health. She was 63 years old.

Born at Elkport

Born at Elkport February 23, 1877, Mrs. Riesselman was the daughter of well-known early day residents of Clayton county. The family lived in Guttenberg for a time and she was married to Ben Wolter who lost his life many years ago in a flour mill explosion here. She later was married to Bernard Riesselman, who survives.

Though a resident of Dubuque for the past 17 years, she had retained her membership in the St. Ann society of St. Mary's church here.

Husband Survives

Survivors are her husband, Bernard Riesselman; two daughters, Mrs. William (Leona) Bertram, Dakota, Illinois, and Mrs. Phil (Catherine) Pfiffner, Dubuque; two sons, Aloysius J. Riesselman and Leo H. Riesselman, both of Dubuque; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Emma) Zelman, Madison, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Henry (Clara) Dauhenbaugh, Chicago; and two brothers, August Johnson, Bagley, Wisconsin, and Art Johnson, Dubuque.

Distantly related to Mrs. Riesselman were Mrs. Katherine Gilbertz, John Wolter and Joe Wolter, all of Guttenberg.
