John Calhoun, aged nineteen years, died at the home of Mrs. Patrick, his grandmother, three miles northwest of the city at 4 o'clock Sunday morning, as a result of accidentally shooting himself with a shot gun....
The deceased was born in September 1890, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Calhoun. He was married to Miss Ella M. Carter, on January 24, 1908. His wife, parents, a brother and one sister survive him.
The funeral will be held at Farmers' Chapel, he being a member there, on Tuesday morning, the funeral cortege leaving the house at 9 o'clock. The services will be by Rev. Sickafoose, assisted by Rev. Butler.
