WOMAN AND HER CHILD DROWNED

ALBION, NEB., Sept. 24 – A distressing accident resulting in two deaths occurred at Bradish, six miles east of this place. Bert Holton, wife and child, were driving into the village in a road cart. When near the elevator they were obliged to cross a canyon, and this was filled with water to a depth of five feet. In crossing, the cart was overturned and the three were thrown into the water. They were separated, and when the man almost exhausted was rescued by Mr. Schavaland, the wife and baby were out of sight. The bodies of the child and woman were discovered later.
