In 1940 Census in Morgan County, John was 43, Arminda 40, Cluster 19, Everett 17, Fay 13, Devona 12, Lawson 10, Alma 7, Dwight 4, Lela Sue 1. At this time, only one of their children is living, Sue (Mrs. Russell) Scott. Burial was in Morgan Memorial Gardens, Wartburg, Tn.
