REPPERT, Douglas P. age 72, of Waynesville and formerly of Huron, OH and Bristol, CT, passed away Fri. July 1, 2016 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, OH. Douglas was a Vietnam Air Force veteran. He retired from GM in 2000 after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Sandusky American Legion and the UAW Local 913. He greatly enjoyed fishing and racing cars. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Eunice Reppert and his brother Bryan Reppert. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy; his daughter Karla (Ben) Hoppe; and two grandchildren Owen and Maya. A celebration of life service will be 1 PM Tues. July 5 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Father Raymond Kammerer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tues. at the funeral home.
