Mildred Brady Gross, 90, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Holt Gross Sr.; brother, James Madison Brady Jr.; three sisters, Leona Ellenberger, Nellie Nale and Gertrude Kline.
She was a teacher in Pinellas County, Fla., for over 30 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she attended the Golden Age Group and prior to moving to Dalton in 2002 she attended St. Luke's United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Stephen Roberts of Tallahassee, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Albert Holt Jr. and Karen Gross of Dalton; grandchildren, Albert Holt Gross III, Kevin Brady Roberts, Jennifer Louise Burger and Haley Jean Roberts; nieces and nephews.
The funeral is Monday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens, Dalton.
