62, of Narragansett, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at home. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John C. and Reita A. (Moia) Albanese. Mr. Albanese was a mortgage originator, ensemble member of the Contemporary Theater Company of Wakefield RI, where he "Held Court", as well as other various Theatre Companies throughout RI. Jack loved preforming and encouraging others to enjoy themselves with laughter. He was the former President of the RI Organ Donor Awareness Coalition and a participant in the Transplant Games. He remained active with the Coalition and was appreciative of everyday he was given. He found joy in speaking to others about his story to help them through their challenges. Jack was an avid athlete and New England sports fan; always rooting the loudest for his Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his siblings, Charles M. Albanese, Judy A. Albanese and her partner James A. Vespia, Linda Albanese-Bruen and her husband Donald, all of Cranston. Jack is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Justin and Dana Albanese, Kristen and Jonathan Kaloyanides, and Carey, Connor, Olivia and Joseph Bruen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark’s Church, Garden City, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are private on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: RI Organ Donor Awareness Coalition, PO Box 40926, Providence, RI 02940.
