Born- Jan. 29, 1845 in Shenandoah, Va. between New Market and Mt. Jackson. Father- Rev. Anders Randolph Rude; Mother-Elizabeth Caperton (widow of William Steenbergen).
Married-Mary Frances Magee of Panola Co, Miss. on Aug. 13, 1872.
