William Koss, of Buffalo Gap, South Dakota, died at Hot Springs, S.D., at age 82. He was buried at Plainview, Nebraska, June 13, 1938. William had lived at Buffalo Gap for many years.

William had been a Circus clown for the Barnum & Baily Circus. He is known for originating the popular clown act of feeding a pig with a nursing bottle.

He was survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters.
