Melvin E. Rau, 85 years, of Slatington, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was the widower of Hilda (Gressley) Rau. He was the son of the late Charles and Rosa (Kramer) Rau. He was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield.
Survivors: daughter, Mary Anne and son, Michael, at home, grandchildren, Jason Jacobs and Paul Kelly, 2 great grandchildren.
Services: 11 A.M., Saturday, July 2, at the Church, 5103 Snowdrift Rd., Orefield. Visitation, 10:30 to 11 A.M. Interment, Church Cemetery.
