She was born December 11, 1943 in Houston, Texas, the oldest of six children born to Rev. Leonard and Doris Evelyn (Clampet) Muston.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Private before becoming a mother to four children.
She retired from Wal-Mart in 2008 after 15 years of service and was proud to be a member of the 192 hour club.
She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Nyte Tyme Quilters.
She is survived by one brother, Bruce Muston (and wife, Lynn); one sister, Ruth Vansuch (and husband, Doug); son, Richard Carcuffe (and wife, Laura); daughter, DeMarie Floyd (and husband, John); son, Darrell Springer; daughter, Nikki Springer; ten grandchildren, Aaron, Joshua, Tabitha, Ryann, Amy, Sean, Kenna, Kayla, Lucy and Ethan; and one great-granddaughter, Annabelle.
Celebration for Dee will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday; July 5, 2016 at Walnut Hill Cemetery at Garfield, with Military Honors by the Rogers American Legion Post 100.
