Dewey Quinton Gregory of 2535 J Street, died Sunday as the result of an automobile accident near Pepperwood. He was born at Bakersfield, Calif. on August 11, 1898, and had practiced as a Physician and Surgeon in Eureka for the past 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred L. Gregory of Eureka; a son, Donald of Sun Valley, Calif.; brothers, Dr. John Gregory of Pasadena, Dr. Clyde Gregory of Martinez, Dr. Ben Gregory of Bakersfield, Robert Gregory of Pasadena, and LeRoy Gregory of Englewood; a sister, Mrs. Florence Roberson of Fresno Calif., and two other sisters, Diana and Elizabeth; two grandsons residing in Sun Valley, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pierce Mortuary with Elder O. E. Schnepper officiating.
