Roger Andrews, age 76, of the Bridge Creek Community went to a better place at Chautauqua Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on June 24, 2016. He was born April 27, 1940 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Orlan and Mary Nell Murphy Andrews. Roger was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and riding his tractor. He also loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his son, Rodney; his parents; and brothers, Don and Max.

Roger is survived by sons, Ricky Andrews and wife Sheila and Troy Andrews and wife Jennifer; daughter, Teresa Daimler and husband Doug; grandchildren, Dennis and Carmilia Andrews, Ashley Lentz, Brian and Brittany Andrews, Joey and Jami Weeks, Holley Andrews, Tori Andrews, Kayla Daimler and Cody Daimler; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, O.L. Andrews and wife Mary and Jacky Andrews and wife Bella; and sisters, Eleene Mayville and husband Joe and Jeanette Nowling and husband William.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will he held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. with Reverend Rodd Jones officiating. Committal services will follow at Andrews Family Cemetery where he was raised in the Bridge Creek Community of Holmes County. Flowers are being accepted.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home.
