Bowbells – Mrs. Lyman Abbott, 67, longtime Bowbells resident, died Sunday, January 3, 1965, in a Kenmare hospital. Wegner Funeral Home, Bowbells, has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Abbott was born October 9, 1897, in Hankinson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Glenn. She married Mr. Abbott on March 16, 1918, at Bowbells. She was a retired school teacher and formerly worked for Burke County.
Her husband survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William. Mrs. Abbot was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Bowbells, with the Rev. Royal Spiedel, officiating. Burial will be in the Bowbells Cemetery in the spring.
