Thomas “Tom” Stanton Solberg, 58, Bemidji, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Services were held Wednesday, June 29, at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Bemidji with Rev. Ron Gladden officiating.

Tom was born March 28, 1958, in Boise, ID, to Cliff and Shirley Solberg. He finished high school and began college at BSU. He married Cynthia Kepner of Burnsville. They later divorced.

In 1997, he was severely injured in a motor vehicle accident. He was eventually moved to his parents home in rural Bemidji where he continued intensive physical therapy and regained his mobility, then was transferred to Courage Center in Golden Valley remaining there for a year. He moved into his own apartment and lived independently.

He was preceded in death by his father.
