Levi Hubler Dead
Levi Hubler, one of our old time citizens, died on April 15, 1920, and the remains were brot[sic] over from the County Farm. On Friday, a short funeral service was held in Bovard's undertaking room and burial was made at Oakland.
Mrs. Kate Agerter, of Tucumcari, NM, came and saw that her aged father was given respectful interment.
She did a heroic Christian part in taking care of the remains of one she loved. In fact, Uncle Hubler had a fine home offered him at his daughter's, but he was positive in his ways and prefered to live among old neighbors. He was born in Indiana and was 85 years, 7 months, and 3 days old.
