Zelma D. Harris, 91, former resident and nurse of Corsicana, passed away June 24, 2016, in Ft. Worth. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Corsicana. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Zelma was born in Hainesville, Texas, to the late John Eli Stagner and Annie Moore Stagner. She lived in Corsicana until 1972 and moved to Jasper, Texas, until 1978, and in 1999 moved to Mineola until 2009, then moving to Ft. Worth. Zelma worked as a nurse at Memorial Hospital and Navarro Regional Hospital, and also volunteered as a Pink Lady up until 1999. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. "Bill" Harris; and sons, Marshall Larry Harris and William Jerry Harris.

Survivors include her son, Garry Alan Harris, of Ft. Worth; grandchildren: Clayton Harris and wife, Shari, Rex Harris and wife, Patricia, Beth Bryant and husband, Matt, Christy Peterson and husband, David, Matthew Harris and wife, Heidi, Caleb Harris and wife, Elizabeth, Catherine Kirkwood and husband, Justin, Brian Thomas, Megan Simpson and husband, Kyle, Loryn Connor and husband, Jonathan, Amanda Harris, and Annie Harris; numerous great-grandchildren; extended family members, and many friends.
