Mrs. Mast was born May 13, 1928 in Warren County, IL the daughter of Elmer and Lois Fair Youngquist. She married Lyle L. Mast on January 27, 1951 in Pekin, IL. He died January 25, 1996.
She is survived by two sons, William (Susan) Mast of Delaware, Ohio and Michael (Christine) Mast of Huntersville, NC; one daughter, Patricia (Rich Knight) Mast of Dublin, CA; two brothers, Gene (Nancy) Youngquist of Cameron, IL and Frank (Barbara) Youngquist of Rock Island, IL; two sisters, Marian Isaacson and Janice (Larry) Candor, both of Galesburg; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Thomas Lyle Mast.
She was co-owner of Mast Construction Company. She was also a homemaker. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1946. She attended Augustana College and Western Illinois University. She was involved with GHS Band Parents for 12 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Age 78 years.
