He contracted pneumonia on his return from W. Va. and took his bed upon his arrival here. He was 64 years old and was a member of the Baptist church. He was buried in the town cemetery, funeral services by Rev. W. R. Evans. He leaves a widow and eight children. Mrs. Starnes has lost her husband, a son and her father all in three months and all dying in her own house. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
