The former Lucy Bush was born Oct. 30, 1902, in Rock Island, the daughter of Edward and Nellie DeVogelaere Bush. She married Spencer J. Anderson March 12, 1921, in Rock Island. He died Feb. 4, 1988.
She was a homemaker.
She and her husband moved to Colorado in 1954 and returned to Moline in 1984.
She was formerly involved with Pearless Dairy, Rock Island, prior to moving to Colorado with her husband.
She was a member of South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.
She enjoyed walking, writing letters and poetry.
Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth Lawhorn, Bonita Springs, Fla., Lucille Ghicadus, Seattle, Marjorie Carlson, Moline, and Delores Parker, Palos Verdes, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alma Ryckaert, brothers, John and Walter Bush, all of Taylor Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
