Rebecca Ann Sellers Spann Key, 70, of Icard, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Rebecca was born on August 25, 1945 in Catawba County to the late Bert Sellers and Mable Bumgarner Sellers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Icard. Rebecca was known to her family and friends as a giver; whether it was from the kindness of her heart, charitable gifts, or even her time.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Judy Seller Wilkie, and sister-in-law Diane Sellers.
Survivors include her two sons, Arle Spann of Connelly Springs, and Rondall Spann of Connelly Springs; two daughters, Amanda Lowman of Shady Grove, and Sherry Vines and husband James of Morganton; two grandchildren, Dalton Lowman, and Courtney Lowman; brother, Robert Bert Sellers of California; two sister, Linda Sellers Carswell of Conover, and Janice Sellers Gray of Wilmington; numerous nieces and nephews; and long time friend, David Hedrick of Icard.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Icard, with Pastor Carl Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service at First Baptist Church in Icard.
