His first wife Mary Ann Winton was the widow of John F Cagle and Daughter of James Winton and Minerva Jones. They had two Son's together Martin Isaac Kennedy and James Robert Kennedy ( Jim Bob). US cences 1870 living in Gally Rock, Yell, Arkansas along with Mary Ann, their two boys and Three step children, Eliza Cagle, Elijah Cagle and Jefferson Cagle. Also Living in his home was his Baby sister Elizabeth Kennedy age 15.
When His first wife (Mary Ann) passed away he Married her Sister, Patience Josephine Winton. Together they had at least five children Charles Homer Kennedy, Henry L Kennedy, John Washington Kennedy, Mattie Elizabeth Kennedy Mosley,and Kinsetta Jane Kennedy Gifford. In the 1880 cences George and Josephine along with their children were living in Cove Polk county Arkansas next door to his sister Elizabeth Kennedy Winton and her Husband George Winton ( son of Stephen Mack Winton and Candace Powell).
When his second wife Josephine passed away George remarried wife number three a young Lady, Millie Jane Lemming daughter of George and Sarah Lemming. Together they had his last child Georgia Ann Kennedy Walker. George passed away soon after Georgia was born.
