Alfred died at the Cobourg General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, he was an old resident of Cobourg and the township of Haldimand, age 61 years old. About a month ago Alfred suffered a stroke of paralysis, which caused his death. He had been in failing health for some time previous. He farmed up to about 15 years ago, when he removed to Cobourg. He was the son of late John Muirhead and was the last surviving member of the family. Two brothers had predeceased him. The funeral took place at the Methodist Cemetery, Baltimore . Rev, Stillman conducted the service. He was well liked by a large circle of acquaintances.
