Graveside services for Mike Chennault, 78, will be at Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey Foster.
He was involved in the Palestine community through his service on the Palestine ISD School Board. the Palestine City Council and the Palestine Masonic Lodge. He was an avid businessman being the owner/operator of Palestine Builders Supply, Inc., Concrete Services Supply, Cabler Security Service, and Calico, Inc. He was also employed at McGraw Hill, Inc. and The "K" Way Equipment Co.
He graduated from Tomball High School and continued his education at Southwestern University and graduated from Sam Houston University.
He restored numerous classics who loved God, family, playing golf and showing his his collection of classic cars.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Helen Chennault, his sister Bobbie LaRue Chennault Lyons; his brother Tony R. Chennault Jr., his beloved wife Anne Johnston Chennault and his granddaughter Megan Elizabeth Chennault.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Joan Chennault Mueller (Dan Michael); his son Michael Douglas Chennault; his grandchildren Michael David, Kerrill Lauren, Mallory Anne, Morgan Taylor, Matthew Douglas, Chip, Jack Claire and other extended family.
